Tuesday, June 17

<joel>  hey all! it's one sunny-ass Tuesday morning here in the heart of Quinton Heights, as I listen to some music and sit here talking to ma peeps. so back-tracking from Saturday - well I worked from 4:30 to 9:00 that day, but since it was rainy everyone just wanted hot things, so THAT was fun... -ahem.- anyway, then Sunday I awoke to an empty house (save a certain 13-year-old brother) because my parents and Ben went to St. Andrew's for a Father's Day race - there my Dad ran the best 5-miler of his like, 31:something, I think that's... yeah, that's pretty inhuman. and so that day I went to rehearsal... but it only lasted for about a minute, because I came at the wrong time. so I went home with Mariel. oh then that afternoon was a little Father's Day Family Reunion... won't even get into it... then Sunday night... -complete and total memory blank-. so yeah, then yesterday morning I had my English (Minister's) exam, which was pretty easy, it was ok. I found out my average for my French exam (please cringe now) it was a big ol' 57.5%, but at least I know I passed everything. then, (get this) I walked from my school all the freakin' way to UPTOWN!! lol well to the City Market - I picked up a wrap from the Wild Carrot, and sat at my little table reading my book as the sun and white clouds floated overhead the windows. it was a really nice day - and I also picked up some fruit things at Pete's, saw a couple people but then I was on my way back home - yes, folks - after this I went from uptown to the West Side on foot. I'm a freak, therefore at all costs, do not ask. lol then last night I walked again with Alicia to the Lancaster Mall (well, the Bulk Barn) to get ourselves some taaasty snacks, oohhh yum. Leesha got some watermelon candies, and some banana chips, while I got some Oreo bark and yogurt-covered pretzels - pretty orgasmic. then we stopped by Barnhill to check up on Amanda, b/c it was her school's graduation dance - she had fun, but everyone was all 'boo-hooey' because the Grade 8's were all going to be sent to hell - I mean High School. haha no, I'm not the next Colombine shooter, I think there's a few things wrong with high school. and so yeah! then I came home and yeah. so this morning I did a major room clean-up, took a shower, got Ben breakfast (I'm babysitting him all day... joy...,) and yeah! no big plans for tonight except for Finding Nemo, rated XXX - lol j/k, talk to ya'll later.

Quinton Heights Rocks,
Where have all the good people gone?

P.S., here's my late Friday Five:

1. What's one thing you've always wanted to do, but never have?
Apart from getting laid, I'd really like to visit Montreal.

2. When someone asks your opinion about a new haircut/outfit/etc, are you always honest?
White lies are crucial, honestly, because without them, think of all the guys such as myself shopping with our girlfriends/friends who are girls who are asked the heart-stopping question: "Does this make me look fat?" I mean, even if she does look fat, you just have to cover it up, instead of saying "Are you related to Moby Dick?" However, if the girl looks like she's just been raped by thong-sporting lions, then honesty would probably be appreciated, especially before a big event.

3. Have you ever found out something about a friend and then wished you hadn't? What happened?
Well I suppose so... I can think of one or two things, but since I'm a good friend I'll keep it confidential - I just tried to discuss my concerns and emotions to the person in question to strengthen the friendship or relationship.

4. If you could live in any fictional world (from a book/movie/game/etc.) which would it be and why?
Probably in the Hogwarts magical world, I've always wanted to yell "Wingardum Leviosa!" to a fork and shove it up someone's derrière.

5. What's one talent/skill you don't have but always wanted?
Hm, probably... Um, I'd have to say to be good at the whole math thing, that was never really my 'cup of tea' or whatever... you know? I just feel left out in that domain, I wish I was better in it.
