Wednesday, May 14

<joel>  (starting from) "and no - I'm not even close to being finished." then came the time to look for running shoes for me so that my feet didn't fall off - which I found, they're New Balance Achieve 704 - reeeally nice. great for running, or so I hope.. I'll try to test them out tonight. then I came home and Mariel & I arranged plans to see a movie, when all of a sudden I get a call from my cousin "George" from "Hokeyville" who had come down for the day and wanted to know whether or not I wanted to go see the dork-a-thon "X-Men 2" with him and my brother. obviously, since I already had plans and wanted to keep my dignity, I refused. my mom went ballistic on me, and forced me to go. point and case: I'm not going to let myself be walked over like that again, darnit! then I woke up early Sunday morning and prepared a lovely little breakfast for my mom which included her new fame body wash, which she loved. then I went to church, then to Mémère's house and had a tonne of fun there until I went over to Alicia's to hang out for a while. then I went to crazy Interaction (I found out my schedule for June... oh God!) and then went home for supper, working out and homework. Monday was pretty uneventful, we started watching "Of Mice and Men" the movie, and I watched the Boston Public finale (which was amazing.) then yesterday morning I started an unsuccessfully finished Blog post... thanks to Keighlae & company... lol oh well, then I didn't do much interesting or out of the ordinary yesterday, but we finished the "Of Mice and Men" movie yesterday (tear tear) and I had Leader Corps last night (and we played the Survivor board game! it was so much fun!) then this morning, while walking out of Ben's daycare, Mirage gave me some perty friendship flowers! they're so nice!!! (it's already made my day.) annnd tonight I'm going for an easy 5-mile run (at lowered pace) instead of Ju-Jutsu, which I'll attend on Friday night, and tommorrow is going to be my applications galore day, I'm going to be sending out tonnes of Resumes for work, and I'm going to apply for "Summer Arts Été" as well. so I'm tired of typing, I want to socialise - 'til later!

Screw "Flowers for Aldernon",
They're mine now! Muhahahaaaa

Tuesday, May 13

<joel>  hey all! it's an unnattractively rainy Tuesday morning here in Sam-de-Cham, where I sit smelling like gel and Happy for men. lol, I like it. so anyway - picking up from last Thursday - Thursday morning and a minor part of Thursday afternoon were dedicated to the PISA, EJET & Provincial exams. they're to find out what regions are the most educationally fortified, what regions have the best home lives, etc. etc. but they weren't very difficult, it just hurt my back. (don't ask - silly ampitheatre seats). then that night I went for a nice run and did a bit of homework. then came Friday, on which I got a chance to look over my Physics test... hoo boy... then that night I went to Ju-Jutsu again, and I was teamed up with Barb and Lorie and I never knew that they could be so funny! they act like my friends, honestly - it's so hilarious! (and in Ju-Jutsu, too?!?! whooaaaaaa.) Saturday... ahhh, tsk tsk tsk, Saturday. well, I started out the day with a 5-mile run, and then upon coming home I realised that I would be having a damn busy day. first we went to Subway, then to Wendy's (Ben wanted some grease sticks - I mean, french fries) then we stopped by Reversing Falls to munch. after that we went uptown (me, Tom, Ben and Mom) for Tom's guitar lessons. after waiting around for him reading an outdated Entertainment magazine from this year's Oscars, we were off again to "Beats & Bites", where Tom bought quite the unholy-looking cross. then we were off again - this time to Quispam for Tom's lacrosse game. we had to stay the entire game because Fred had to stay on the bench, so me and my mom minded Curren, David and Ben while watching Tom & Marissa conquer the game with a final score of 8-7. and no - I'm not even close to being finished. </joel> <!--20:42-->

Sunday, May 11

<joel>  ah, I'd better post again. lol! oook, so going back frommm - what is it? Tuesday? yeah, well, on that day I think (or was it Wednesday) I got my big Physics test back... heh heh... ummm... 45%! it's terrible, I know, ok?? but I'm the so-called "Comeback Kid" (remember the 90%?) So I'm hoping that I can make a better mark next time... that'd be a good thing... so anyway, that's always nice, then came Leader Corps - but there wasn't really any. it was just me, Sarah & Selma talking about 'hotness' (don't ask? all I can say is that thankfully, the discussion was of female hotness, and then when the conversation changed - I went venturing around the Y.) it was fun. I started to develop a new fitness plan, and I think I can get a pretty good chance for the summer if I work hard - and modify my diet, damnit! man, I need to find a balance. last week I was practically anorexic and now I'm stuffing my face at every corner. I'll find a balance yet - mark my words! wow... I'm defiant... so anyway, then came Wednesday, and that day I worked on my 'Toolbook' project in Techno, and our English class finished up 'Of Mice and Men'. If you want to see my review of it, go ahead and visit my new review site. it was pretty touching. that night, I had Ju-Jutsu - which was fun, I suppose. then Thursday... I'll pick this up later. I don't know what the hell I'm doing up, but I'm exhausted.

To be completed later,
One Tired Joel.
