Your friend, Joel

Saturday, March 15

<joel>  hou ha! (wtf?) oh, well. what's new, ya'll? it's a very sunny (but not so warm) Saturday morning. it's pleasent, to say the least. anywho, going back to last night, I went to Ju-Jutsu, which was worthwhile and useful. I did much better on my front roll, my stances, and it was fun! the downside? THE BELT TEST IS ON THIS UPCOMING FRIDAY! oh good Lord! I hope I'm ready... If I get this I'll have a smile from ear-to-ear. I deserve this, for the life of me, I deserve this. so yaw! then I came, had a lovely little shower, then watched some good ol' 20/20. then I hit the hay! this morning I went out for my run, I got in sub-30, again! I hope that I can run every single morning of the summer like I promised myself - it's to train for the 5 miler in the MBTS this year, let's all hope and pray that I still have functioning joints at the end of the year, I'll have such bad athiritus when I'm older... ah geez... allright, so this afternoon from 1-4:30 or so I'll be at the Atlantic Home Show coat check, mosie on by and say holla if you go! oh, and tonight I might go see a movie with Leesha, but then again, I have no idea. oh, well! bye!

I used to sniff coke,
but then I got an icecube stuck up my nose.

<joel>  bonjour, les compagnons de la vie! 'tis a stark Friday eve here at the Vautour residence, and I sit here feeling like a big oink oink, I munched too many crisps... poor Jacquot, he's currently on the 30-hour famine - which I'll be doing at the beginning of April. ahhh!!!!! Oh, God. poor kid. it's gonna be hard - let's hope that pulls through! anyways, back-tracking from Thursday, I was on CNN.com, looking over the Elizabeth Smart case because I'm a dork, when suddenly this gay 9th grader comes up to me and asks me what I'm doing. I tell him, and he was acting like he was a really mentally defficient moron throughout the conversation, when all of a sudden he farts and everyone laughs and I'm sitting there thinking, "what the fuck?" and then when I was leaving he grabbed his own ass for all of his gay friends to see. don't ask me... then I got my Physique test back, 70%, not that bad... I'm on my way up, I tell you!!! then Thursday evening, there was theater practice, where we practiced our intro. then we talked about a lot of stuff, like Caraquet (can't wait!) and all of our future troupe public performances. it's cool. then for the final hour, we did a schnazzy little Italian, then I was off home to do a crapload of work until 9:30, followed by some minor viewing of Survivor, and then bed. this morning, we didn't do very many exciting things... except for the fact that I found out Lynn Thigpen died!! you know, the woman who played 'The Chief' on 'Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiago' or Ella Farmer on 'The District'!!! she was one of my faves!! it's kind of weird, though... I can't find anything about it on the 'Net... go fig... anywho, future aspects: I'm going to Ju-Jutsu tonight, and tommorrow I'm going for my run and I'll be at the Coat Check @ the Harbour Station Atlantic Home Show - see ya there! well, for tommorrow afternoon, anyways. tommorrow night I don't know what I'm doing... then it's theatre Sunday, I have Beaux Parleurs and Interaction. anyways, I g2g, mmk bye.

Thursday, March 13

<joel>  welllllie well. it's a lovely thursday morning here at Sam-de-Cham, and I sit here comfortable, but not terribly so. ok... so I'll back-track from Tuesday but first; they found Elizabeth Smart ALIVE! can you believe that? I mean, it's been 9 whole months, and they found her, alive, with some psychopath preacher guy named 'Emmanuel' . damn. anywho, back-tracking from Tuesday, I didn't do much on Tuesday... well, Tuesday night I went to Leader Corps, which was fun. there were these two girls - spedie and spedette, who are SO clueless!!! I hate 'em... they're absolutely retarded... but the 30-hour famine is in... one of the most un-healthy things I've done, but hey! it's for a good cause. then yesterday - yesterday was FUN! ...I had a test for Physique AND a verb test! -hourrah- then last night I had some lovely Ju-Jutsu, where I learned some charming handshake techniques - they're ever-so-fun! I think inflicting pain in great! I g2g... eh-oh... bye now... !!!

Tuesday, March 11

<joel>  only 10 days until Spring! ...though it doesn't feel like it... OK, so leaving off from Sunday afternoon, I basically didn't really do all that much, I watched a re-run of the opening of the Canada Games (in the north of the province) for some part of the afternoon - two people in my school are wearing the official "Team NB 2003" coats - they're pretty nice, actually. good to know our tax dollars are going to help the poor people! frig... I made little movies, too (how sad!) with my old school camera (from 1990. really) but they're fun to make non-the-less. then I mosied on over to Jim Bum's (aka Jim Bob's, a local convenience store...) to pick up some licorice for mom, since she had given it up for Lent, and since it was a sunday. then yesterday was the re-starting of school, things are going nicely enough for the time being, I suppose. then last night I did some homework, and needed to clear my mind, so I went for an hour-long walk. I walked along the tree-ful Manawagonish, took a detour behind the Barnhill school, went over by Lancaster Arena, and the snowbanks were so high that I could see well over the ballfield... that place holds a lot of memories for me. like that time when my Dad took me over to the scoreboard and sat me down so that I could look at the numbers, or the time when Mariel was on the cell phone, dissing Jed for all he was worth. ...moving back to subject, lol - then I walked up Valleyview, my maternal neighbourhood / road, I went past my old house, and yadda yadda yadda. the point is that those kinds of walks are simply reminders that yes, life goes on and that I'm a lot better off then other people. a LOT better off. I think it's important to know that. anyways, so then I came home, watched a satisfactory edition on Boston Public (it included musicals! and girls in thongs! what could be better?) and went to coucher. so then today, I hsven't much planned - the peeps who went to France two Wednesdays ago are finally getting back today, that should be fun to see! and I also have Leader Corps tonight - well, that's all, thanks for readin'!

For all you brothaz and sistaz,
Who be respectin'.

Monday, March 10

<joel>  I'm in big poop. I freaked out after Alicia told me that she could (tentative!)----->possibly<-------(not for sure!) not be able to see Peter Pan. but I got over it, and it's ok now. but Alicia thinks that I want to control her parent's (and her family's) -dream- vacation to good ol' Ontario just so that they can see Peter Pan! (oh no!) I don't want to control anyone's vacationing plans just so that they can see my play - either way, as long as she has fun it's cool. ouf! anyways, yesterday afternoon I mosied on over to the Elliot's house to practice my Ju-Jutsu stuff. it was useful, seeing as to how I'm fully Ju-Jutsu defficient. then last night Mariel & I made plans to go see 'Bringing Down the House'. but first, we did a little shopping @ Sport Check! that was fun, but while I was browsing on the computer for some running gear, I noticed that Mariel wasn't around. I kind of shrugged it off, but then she appeared and said that my mom and her were talking about my childhood! I was traumatised, and Mariel taunted me with it for a little while. let's hope it didn't really happen. ayoye... well anyways, 'Bringing Down the House' nearly made me pee my pants, it was really good for a laugh! although it was somewhat stereotypical... but you can check it all out on my movie review site. my aspects for this afternoon are glum, chum. for some very odd reason, Kate cancelled! although the roads are absolutely fine, Kate cancelled. I can't believe it! my parents are ranting about the house - lol! and of course there's not any school theater (this fact could be potentially attributed to the reason of nearly half of the troupe is in Europe). so, I'm tired of typing... until later!

Sunday, March 9

<joel>  ah, holà. what's new? it's Saturday morning. wow! so, before I talk about current issues, let's back-track from Thursday, shall we? Thursday night, I was depressed because I discovered that people that I knew went to the auditions for the movie "Bringing Home the Bacon", and that I should have gone. crap. then I also discovered about Alicia's little trip to Halifax for the weekend, which is cool. I also found out that she wouldn't be able to make it to 'Peter Pan,' but that's ok. so anyways, yesterday, I hung around the house until the afternoon, that's when I went to go see 'The Flaming Idiots' with Marissa. it was quite the delightful spectacle - I mean, who wouldn't want to spend their afternoon watching three guys doing some hardcore (if I'd have stopped this sentence here, it would have sounded 110% not right) juggling (with beanbags!) lol - it was more-or-less geared towards the smaller ones, but it could still be enjoyed by all, I think that's why I liked it. so anywho, I got a drive home in the Slipp Jalopy (wtf? it's a van. a nice one. I need help.) soon after, my family went out to dinner! I suggested Taco Pica, but nooo - we went to Mother Nature's instead. not that I don't love their food, I just wish we'd have gone somewheres a little more... elegant. but, with Thomas (I wanted poutine, damnit!) and Ben (...I'm 5 years old...), it's kind of hard to do so. I'll just wait for my birthday in November... only 7 months away! whoo - anywho, then we stopped at DQ (jumps up and down like a small child) and got ice cream!! (no shit, Sherlock.) lol - then came Ju-Jutsu. on a Friday night. yup, I have a 'life.' -cough- God... anyways, after Ju-Jutsu, I came home, watched some Law & Order and hit the hay. (BAD HAY!) then this morning I went for my run (of course,) and here I am. my future weekend aspects are decent, I suppose. I have to go to practice my stances at the Elliot's house this afternoon... but it's only an hour. I can live with that. I want to go see 'Bringing Down the House' with someone tonight - call me! anyways, that's all for now, bye!

Three cheers for,
Crazy Little Munckins!
