JA to the YV
Hey ya'll, I'm Joel, (a.k.a. Skanky J, Joël, Ghetto Whore, _J_ö_L_) and I'm a good friend to many. -adjusts halo on head- and it is here that I post all (well, most) of charismatic thoughts, opinions, self-happenings and such with all those who just happen to find their way onto this orange page. even if it's the most pointless entry, feel 110% free to leave a shout out, I love to see them. so that's that, and I do hope you enjoy my entries. Your friend, Joel

<joel>  my weekend plans now look very, very bleak. well, for one - I have zipp-o plans for tonight, ditto for tommorrow night-o. (for all of you who can't read the letter 'o,' I just said: "I have no plans for tonight, and it is the same for tommorrow evening.") damn! and of course everyone is ouh la la occupied... I mean, am I becoming a naggy social reject? I thought I had some coolness left in me... I think that left me when I joined the chess club. (just kidding.) OH NO! Is everyone making up plans to avoid me??? nobody ever talks to me on MSN, I have to talk to them! ...calm down, Joel. calm down. I'm good. ...I still have...my, uh... dignity... don't I? heh... heh heh... moving on... -ahem- so I got really peeved at Christie, and blocked her. I just find there's more disadvantages in the whole friendship then advantages... ah, I'm now depressed. I know what I need! a nice, long, brisk walk. even though if it's minus-a-billion. ayoye, ayoye. sometimes I wonder. but... teenagers are so limited and narrow in thought! it's like a one-way street, and anyone going against the general flow is stopped. and then adulthood is the highway... it's a whoooole different game. you can - you can change lanes, pull over, take exits, speed, get a ticket... but not on the one-way street of the teenage years. well, for the train of thought, anyways. I think.

Unsure about everything...,
!_-_-_JöL_-_-_!

Friday, February 14

<joel>  ouh la la... it's Thursday. I sit here in the Tech room (sounds cool, eh?) typing away my happenings on this modern computer. hmm.... updates, updates - well, no better place then to start where I left off - let's go to Monday. Monday was a bad day. I had a ton, yes, a ton of homework to do. but the fact that I had the Wiseman's Dinner to attend to until 7:15 before my homework didn't exactly help. I was up until 10:30 on a Monday night. you know what that means?!?!?! NO BOSTON PUBLIC!!! argh!!! I was told it was a pretty decent episode, as well - and I missed it! arghity argh! so that was cheery - but I eventually did cheer up because my mom let me look over the Murder Mystery game, which I am getting more and more excited about... even if it's months away. I am fully psycho... without being a loser. 'cuz I'm cool! anyways, Tuesday I don't really remember, that's weird... I didn't have that much homework, and watched American Idol. I like that show. then last night... Ju-Jutsu for an hour, before my mom popped on in and said because of weather conditions, we had to go. I was confused, but soon understood. outside, it was absolutely psychotic. we took a very, very long time to get back, with mom, myself, Thomas & Ben. and by God, it was scary. and wrong. there were times where we simply had to follow the big lights on the highway, or on the Harbour Bridge, the tracks that were on the bridge. temporarily. there were times when my mom screamed, when Ben trembled, it was a lot scarier then one would think. when I got home, Dad was there with a cross and yelled 'Allehuiah!' I found that sad, he was pretty pale with worry, which is unlike him. :-( then today is becoming pretty normal, there's theater tonight, which I'm indifferent about. anywho, I don't really have plans for the weekend, which I hope is not true. I g2g - damn school rules!

My favorite quote is:
«If life gives you lemons, screw the lemonade, grab some champagne and go home.»

Monday, February 10

<joel>  eh-oh!!! I've painted myself into a corner again. zut. well, it seems that way at least, but here's what's in my near future (some stressful, some not..) Belt Test in March, Munsch Break with Kate, 'Une Nuit de Fou' in April, Caraquet in April/May, Peter Pan at the end of June, Exams in June... Oh me oh my. and there's more. I'm thinking of hosting a Murder Mystery in the spring, (after March Break.) that sounds like SO much fun! It's still stinchy on the details (did I just use the word 'stinchy???' shoot me!) but I think it'll go through - it's quite the elegant affair, my mom explained it to me: you send out invitations that let you know about your character, and you read up on that character in the invitation. you arrive at the destination (chez moi) in the character. the host, (me,) explains the situation, and then plays the tape that describes it all. then we go into the 'Scenes'. discussions are had, situations are described, and it's supposedly really fun. especially since a lot of my friends are so *talented!* ouh hou, I'll go over that tonight after homework. let's just hope that my parents send Thomas to "Strict and Inhumane Babysitters 'R' Us", otherwise the evening is a disaster. another thing for tonight, my grandmother (who's house-ridden due to her hip, I wish they'd call her about that surgery,) is feeling lonely (what a sin!!) and so I think mom & I will mosie on over there for an hour or so ce soir... ça serait une bonne chose pour ma pauvre mémère!!! ayoye, ayoye. entéka, c'est ça. à plus tard, mes pitounes!

Maybe I should stop talking french,
Born to entertain.

Sunday, February 9

<joel>  mmmyaw! hi dere! I feel like I should be in a hangover now, but I didn't even have any alcohol last night, let alone drugs... but man, did I ever have some fecked up dreams! there musta been something is those seemingly wholesome beverages... oh, about that! last night I went to Stone Church's very own 'Hard Stone Café,' and it was pretty amusing.. There were lots of different beverages, such as... or the, uh... well, you can check out their schnazz here. there was Marie-E (the b-day girl!) JF, Josée, Marmen, and... uh, 'Joel.' well, when I first got there I was like 'uhhhhhhh....' and everyone was like "GLARE! LET'S GLARE! -smile pleasently- oh, did you want a drink?" because Marmen was off doing God-knows-what, unfortunately that kid ain't the best host in the world. :-S anywho, then at least Josée came, so we chatted for about 25 minutes or so, until the rest o' the gang showed, so we lounged casually on the sofa n' such.. and then TA-DA! the wonderfully charming boy with a fro with the name of (yes,) Joel, therefore I was forced into being Joël in an english environment. which forced people to call me "Joelle." -shudders-and it's oh-so-sloppy! augh!!! anywho, we all got up to get drinks, and I was commenting how my drink was pretty sweet (literally - my teeth are gone :-( ) and Joel looks at me and says: "...Your point is?" I stutter, "Uh... I'm not sure tha-" He then turns his back to me and declares "So, in OTHER news," therefore completely blocking me from socialising from the rest of the group. now, he ain't all bad... but if I hadn't gotten JF & Marmen's output on the kid, my description would be... worse. but, I'll stop there and just say a very nice and politically correct joke from _____. *cough* Q) How many Jews can you fit into a beetle? A) Depends on the size of your ASHtray. ...that's just a glance, folks.

I'm rude,
With a 'tude.
