<joel> ouf. hum hum hum, what's new. well, yesterday I went for a very long & cold walk around the neighbourhood - it was great. my family (well, Dad was working, and I was walking - so that left Mom, Ben & Tom) skating @ the Lancaster rink. I walked up in the parking lot, and left the message "Joel was here - muhahaha". my mom was highly confused because she didn't know I was even going for a walk, and it wasn't there before. hehe - anywho, so then I went from there, past St. Mark's church, and into my maternal neighbourhood of -sigh- Greendale. :-) Yes, I love my Greendale. so many memories!!! really, it's kind of cheesy to say, but I absolutely adore that whole place... I mean, from the tender age of... well, 0 to 5, I grew up there very happily, and being a teenager now, I don't want to lose my roots to stress, to bad things that happen in my life - that's where the little boy in me came from, and I firmly believe that. it's always great to walk through there... anyways, talking about cheesy, I saw 'Fromage 2002' last night, it was great!!! Kelly Osbourne won overall, for 'Papa Don't Preach', Ed said "Papa don't preach?!?! Papa can barely form words!!! Sh- Sh- Sharrronnnn" LMAO! I loved that - then there were so many other good moments, like N*Sync's 'Girlfriend', and he was talking on how candy-ass-y they are, and that if they ever went to jail, they'd find out what a 'real girlfriend' is. ohhh, and there a complete n' total diss of Madonna in there - for 'Die Another Day', when she's being dragged to the room by two henchman, Ed reports: "well - this video isn't really different from any other videos... she's on her knees with two guys." so, you gotta check that one out. anyways, that's all from me - til latah.
So easy to fall,
_!~JAYV~!_

<joel> whoo. it's... well, sometime between 10:30 and 11:00 in the morning, and it's shaping up to be a droll day. I fell asleep at 12:30... which surprised me immensley, I thought I'd get up and collapse again. ah, well... guess not. the thing I was afraid of and that I hate is to happen, it's to sleep in too much and realise you've missed the family boat for the day. (explanation: my family is busy... but they go out and usually go to fun places or do interesting things during the Holidays, and when ya miss it, they're not back until 6:00 or 7:00. alas what happened to me yesterday... therefore I wilted and wained around the house (yes, I did just use the words wilted & wained. shoot me.) until they came back. (wow.) so then they left again to go to Harbour Station. but now, I'm back to my normal level of non-exhaustion (orrrr rest) so I'm good. maybe Mom & I will do something fun like shopping... I'm loaded, so that would be nice. but then again, Dad's working. in any case, you can tell this is a fun post. real fun. anywho, I'm going to go work and start my 2nd french project... (yeah... that's bundles of fun.) until later!
Blaw to school,
Jë V.

<joel> All I can say is, wowzaz - I need a glass o' watah!!!! First of all, happy 2003 to all of you. Now, here's a big-ars resume of what the last 24-25 hours have been like. well, at 6:00 or so yesterday, I mosied on down to the YMCA, to get ready for m'big sleepovah, with all my stuff. it started off with hot dogs and chips... in which I shamefull indulged. ah, well. after the that, the kids lazed around as I sat in the kitchen with everyone that was there. there was... Sarah, Adrienne, Jaliza, Kayla, Anthony, Meridith... so we just sat around (well, some of us did) and socialised until the kiddies went down to the pool. then Sarah & I went down to the weight room and bounced around like retards on the stability balls while discussing some important (not to mention confidential stuff) over a kind of short period of time. anywho, then it was just a bunch of sitting around, until the kids went on the trampoline. Brittany, Sarah and myself went back down to the weight room and bounced around like retards again, it was great. then when the kids were watching the movie, we all just kind of frolicked around and played basketball and such. then when they were done, we all went into the gym, because we were promised lots of trampoline time (...under supervision...) which we did eventually get, and it was awesome!!! although it made me feel a bit ill. then we went to the cardio room, did a bit of excersize, laughed our butts off over dumb stuff n' blah blah blah. we went back to the main room, rang in the new year with a fun countdown (minus the fireworks... :-S) THEN, at like 3:00 in the morning, to fight of boredom and fatigue, we worked for an hour and half on a devious plan to scare the janitor. in the end, however - it just consisted of me pretending I had got a chocolate milk from the vending maching and putting a freakish note under his telemophone. it was fun non-the-less. when that was all done, we laid around, played hide-and-go-peek on the entire main floor of the Y (lobbies, dressing rooms, work-out rooms, and all the schnazz included,) which was fun. at 6:00 AM or so, everyone was pretty much dead. so I fell asleep too. waking up at 8:00, my neck was sore and I felt like poo. after that, I was picked up and brought home, where I slept from 9:00 to 2:30. then I ate, and.... ate supper again, and the now the whole family (with the exception of me) is at Harbour Station. and so now, I'm going to do a bit of homework, (yes, HOMEWORK) take a bath, and have lots more sleep tonight!!!!
Happy New To You,
I.R. Tired.

<joel> t'day is, as you all know, the last day of 2002. I am now going to do a year in review: 2002 was a fairly good year. I have made some new friends (namely Amanda, Mariel, Alicia, and many others) and lost some (i.e. Laura, my brother Tom..., for the most part with Dot and Andy as well, who probably still think I'm a crazy retard.) I began the year still going out with Erin, and we broke up in mid-January of this year. I met Laura in July, and we went out until mid-September. both have picked up with other people, which is a good thing, I suppose. I'm interested in someone, anyways. for family, it was a mixed year. Thomas, now a teenager, got to be more of a big bum and is really not helping mom with her slight depression. mom has been more of a bitch, what with the enforcing this, making sure of that, blah blah blah, and Dad stayed the same, except for getting angry more often. Ben, well he is annoying, yet decent. educationally, I did OK until June, then coming back to Grade 10 wasn't so great. I am picking up what I've gained and am moving on, but it's always still a struggle. the world itself this year involved 'entertainment' whatnots, the usual old celebrity deaths, threats from Palestinians, Isrealites, and Al Queada, (all that,) the death of my grandmother, which was depressing... yet a relief at the same time. I realised a bit more my place in the world, as being socially active and being a bit more recognised in Saint John... or even in the community. my whole fling with healthy eating (which has taken a downfall due to the fa-reakin' holdays) and lots of excersize began... well, picked up a lot this year, and I have lost some weight... (although there wasn't that much weight to lose in the first place. ;-).) so, I mean - things like that that made it an interesting year. with all that I've learned, it should be an interesting 2003. Happy New Years to all of you!
Talk to you all in...,
Two thousand and three!

<joel> hey all - not much of a day in retrospective, I mean... yeah, just kind of boring. nothing big happened - I called the YMCA, apparantly there won't be that many people at the New Year's Eve thing-y... but it'll be good. if only... anyways, like I said, a pretty boring day, although I did get some excersize. I dropped over at Alicia's for a little while, I got some Kisses from her (yes, Hershey's ultra-fattening guilt-trip kisses) and we {designating Alicia, Amanda & myself} had a nice little convo about 'bric-a-brac,' stuff like that. I was actually watching Ricki Lake today, LOL!!! it was great, 'Drag Queen Idol USA 2002,' it was very... different. in the end, some bimbo with huge hair won... and cried like a 'tard. meh, well - what can ya do. anywho, my social image... er, my physical image has been deteriorating a lot lately. I know I'm not that terms... (I'm actually pretty skinny, or so certain people say) but all this holiday EATING! I mean, I don't know about you, but I feel F-A-T and I don't know if you can laugh it off, but I quite honestly can't. amidst all of my latest efforts, I just feel fat. I really do. geez... damn media!!! ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyways..
Ya,
Packing the pounds!!!! :'-(
</joel> <!--08:48-->
<joel> welllll - it's 10:38 in the morning, and my mood is neutral with a dash of optimism. thanks for all the people who 'Shouted Out' yesterday... apart from the cowardly nameless person, whatever... anywho, it's Monday but it doesn't really feel like a monday because it's all vacation all the way, so that's a good thing. I think the 'Amazing Race' between Alicia & Mariel is going to be moved to Jan 2. because apparantly Alicia can't make it for tommorrow. I'll try to figure something out, but it's going to be different. (yet AOK fun!) well anyways I left a message for Adrienne at ze YMCA, I think I'm going to ring in the new year at the Y, guys! (yé!) the good thing is that there's a vague chance that - 'Jesus' will be there. omg... this person just signed in under the name 'Girls are like parking spaces... The good ones are all taken, and the rest are just handicapped.' well isn't that just peachy keen nice? that's downright gratifying... frig... I dunno what I'm gonna do today, I suppose just an improvised day with some people. -sigh- ah, well. until later!
Ayoye,

<joel> -sigh- today was truly a shitty day. why? well... let me resume my day. I woke up realising I had to go to church, which I really really didn't want to go to... then I realised that I have to start studying for exams / working on french projects soon, and that really sucked as well, because that basically means... the party's over. and anyways, it's getting to be this huge dillema to even a f*cking hour on the com-pu-ter!!! and all because of a sick f*cking lathargic pig in my home who goes by the name of Tom-ass. ya, he goes in here with his dirty... everything and plays his God-damned 'System of a Down' as loudly as he can!!! f*ck! just RIGHT NOW, he comes into the room dancing like a retard to my music (because to him, all of my music is inevitably either retarded or gay.) what a fucking retard! and because of him, it's becoming to be more and more like getting through airport security to get on and DO NORMAL THINGS LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE WITHOUT STRESSING OUT THE WHOLE GOD-DAMN FAMILY!!! he has A.D.D. (I think so anyways,) he's lazy, loud, obnoxious, and is a f*cking overall pig! he told a girl at school he'd go out with her if she lost weight... LIKE HE'S ANY BETTER! he is bringing this family APART and I am fucking sick of it. I honestly don't know what to do... it's like living with a time bomb, but he sets off the whole family. if you're pissed off to - e-mail him @ thomas_vautour@hotmail.com . I'm... totally pissed... and it was a shitty day.
F*ck it...,
Whatever.

<joel> it's shaping up to be an odd Saturday evening. as you all know, I have my whole 'Swiss Chalet' evening that we've all been planning for about almost 2 months (we have very conflicting schedules, OK???) and now Jacques just e-mailed me saying something on how his parents suddenly don't remember him informing them about the evening... and he asked if I could "bring him to the highway" afterwards. now, I don't know about you, but I find this information pretty confusing. does Jacques want to see how fast he can walk along the highway before being smashed by a transport truck? let's hope not. nevertheless, I am pretty confused. the e-mail was sent @ 2:00 this afternoon, and I was out all afternoon. oh! about this afternoon, I went on "Mariel & Joel's Casual Expedition 2002" this afternoon. how did Mariel fare, you ask? marvelously! no offense to Alicia, but Mariel did better then her! it was very good, but I think I had a little bit more overall fun with Alicia. go figure. it was however very good excersize, after my habitual morning run & such. and of course, the big night is tonight, can't forget! it'll be a bundle o' fun, it really will. SO much fun in fact, that we will end up being banned by the restaurant altogether, for "too much laughter and fun." ah, well! anyways I've got nothing, so until l8er me homies!
_JoL_,
...in the city.
</joel> <!--07:52-->
<joel> this is odd. like you all know, I like to give Shout Outs to my my friends, and Blogs that I find cool, etc. well lately, this person on Hayley's Blog with the avatar of "LibraLunatic" (a total ass) has been leaving derogatory comments on her Blog. This character is a pretty sad person if you ask me, but he/she will probably leave a Shout Out on my site too, if you remember the one that said 'do you ever not complain...' well, you know who that was. anyways, enough about sad retards, I got back from me weekly run not long ago! it was hard to do so with all the sidewalks blocked off almost completely due to the Boxing Day snow storm. however, excersize is excersize and it's good all the same - and as always, I got a sub-30 minute time. this afternoon I am going on another adventure on the same trail - but with Mariel. yes, I'm putting Mariel to the test to see if she can make the full voyage from Wiggy's hill to Island View, (and from there back to my house-ish). it's going to be something to remember in any case, and plus - it's lots more excersize that I'll be needing for tonight. anywho, that's all from me!
Health, health, health!,
Ze Jowel
